Why Online Coaching
Works

Most people assume that online coaching is inferior to meeting in-person with a fitness professional. In fact, in many cases, the opposite is true. 
Personal training is a classic, old-school approach to helping people exercise safely and efficiently, that's worked for decades. And it does work, at least for a while. I know because I've done this for years. The problem with this approach is that the vast majority of people who turn to personal trainers are mostly interested in "getting it done", and not much else. This kind of mindset, combined with the nature of in-person training sessions (and the industry's standards), creates a somewhat problematic relationship between professionals and their clients. This relationship is one of dependency, lack of client autonomy and of not assuming responsibility for one's own health and fitness journey. 

I've seen and heard this story so many times over the years - new clients have come to me after years of being inactive, telling me how they "used to train with a trainer, until they left town/switched jobs/stopped working", etc. This change, that was out of their control (since they never bothered to take control of their own fitness journey, but instead relied completely on another person telling them what to do, over and over and over again...), caused them to fall off the exercise wagon and go back to their old, unhealthy ways.  

Another factor is affordability, of course. While training with a trainer twice a week can easily cost as much as $200 a week (or more), with an online-only program you can get similar or better results for $200 a month. And then there's the ability to train on your own schedule, anywhere in the world, without worrying about not having your human crutch there with you...

When you're working with a professional that builds and oversees your program from afar, but does not need to be physically present for you to exercise, you learn to take charge of your own workouts. That small difference has a huge impact on how you see, understand and connect with your program and progress. Once this autonomy is established for the fitness side of things, it can easily be applied to your diet as well, as well as other tough-to-maintain daily habits - such as a healthier routine around sleep and stress management.   

My Online Coaching Program has served many people who came to me for help over the past 7 years, and it has served them well. 
After making sure that there is a good match between the person's abilities and goals, and what I can offer using the OCP, we get to work and soon enough they discover they are capable of getting stronger and staying consistent on their own (with my guidance and support of course, the work only starts when they get the initial program). 
And while private sessions are always an option as an add-on, most would find them unnecessary.
